Frank Baugh will be displaying some new paintings at Halcyon Bike Shop- large and medium acrylic paintings of lost or forgotton memories full of mystery and a lingering sense of undefined nostalgia. Music begins at 8 pm with the legendary John Allingham of Nashville outsider-folk band The Cherry Blossoms. Andrew Pigue will also be playing a set of experimental electronic sounds. Come out for some music and art.
The Swift Industries campout is only 9 days away! Join us June 24-25 for an overnight bike ride to Bell's Bend. Meet at Halcyon at 4pm for a 4:30 roll-out. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you plan to join. This is a bring your own snacks, tent, and coffee event. See you soon!
Tonight, tonight: grand opening for some wild art by Mr. Matt Wolf with heady sonic vibrations provided by locals That's My Kid. This is a free event, but artists and musicians are always grateful for tips and hugs! Also, John says "hey! hello!" to everyone.
Come slow yr roll with us this Sunday, May 14th, for the final Beginner Group Ride of the spring season. We'll meet up at 10am in the Halcyon parking lot for a quick "road smarts" talk with a member of Walk/Bike Nashville and then head out for a fun, easy-breezy ride to the pedestrian bridge and back.
Past BGR participants have said the following about the ride: "That was pleasant," "I liked it," and "I am no longer afraid." All are welcome!
